Campbell's
Jazz Soup plays a fun blend of 1920s, 30s, and 40s jazz and swing at events, parties, and receptions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Leader Brian Campbell serves up a tasty stew of hot clarinet and swinging saxophone. Mixed in to provide a feast for the ears is bluesy guitar
and driving string bass. To top it off we can stir in some hearty vocals. We play everything from mellow background jazz to upbeat danceable swing.
The trio
can expand to as many as seven members with the addition of trumpet, drums, piano, and/or trombone. Our most popular configuration
is a quintet composed of the trio plus trumpet and drums. If you want to dance, the quintet is the way to go!
For close to two decades we've played many events throughout
the San Francisco Bay Area including weddings, festivals, parties,
and corporate affairs. Check out our music samples and send us an email or call us to get availability and rate information. Thanks for visiting!
PS: Looking for Dixieland? We can do that too! Check out our Dixieland music samples page here.
